Travelling by minibus
Ground transportation by minibus is the most widespread and economical option. One-way fares are generally 700 MRU (7,000 MRO).
Where can I find a minibus?
The majority of transport companies are located between the 4th and 6th Robinet crossroads. These include El Moussavir, El Ghaswa, Tiriss Transport, 28 Novembre and Global. These companies offer regular routes, but with differences in terms of comfort and journey time. However, for a faster, more comfortable journey, we recommend the 1ère Classe company.

Tip: Always carry a photocopy of your passport to speed up passage through the gendarmerie.

Air travel
Flying is the fastest option, albeit more expensive. Domestic flights connect Nouadhibou to Nouakchott in around 45 minutes, offering superior comfort and considerable time savings.
